Description: This photo depicts a wooden spring with fresh mountain water cascading from its spout. The image is very nostalgic of the beauty of the alps and this feeling is especially noticeable in the hues present throughout. I was lucky to get the perfect angle and weather for this photograph which gave it both a magnificent background and a natural vignette from sunlight at the edges. This makes the photo look like it was taken with a filter, but the colors seen are all natural. In fact, I find the purity of the scene, including the natural wood spring, to be very complementary to my work. The white hue of the horizon to the deep blue of the sky and the greenish-yellow of the grass is mesmerizing and truly shows how beautiful nature can be when it is undisturbed.
