Trio von Kühe (Trio of Cows)

Location: Schlick, Tirol, Austria
Date: 7th, July, 2012
Camera/Lens: Canon EOS 550D/SIGMA 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC / HSM
Description: This image was taken in the Schlick, a famous part of Tirol for skiing. What I did with this photo is that I gave it a bit of a different perspective, to show what positive consequences there can be to a well-preserved environment. For one, cows can graze in multitudes along the green slopes of a mountain, which is their natural habitat, not a closed factory space. To give this concept a feeling in the photo, I took a direct angle with the cows, so that they are making eye contact with the viewer. The photo also has a warm and welcome feel to it and I made sure to get the cows in position so I could get a "Three Musketeers" idea which shows how friendly a well-kept natural environment can be to its inhabitants and the human eye.
